Our story

1980
Establishment of Marbet
1984
Started production of coffers and other decorative
and utility products from polystyrene foam.
1993-1996
Development of technology for production of polystyrene models (lost cores for LOST FOAM technology)
1993
Start of cooperation with IKEA
1998
Obtain a Certificate of Compliance
with the requirements of ISO 9001.
Late 90's'
Introducing customized injection molding technology for the production of green panel system components (thermal insulation in construction) and specializing in polystyrene packaging and fittings.
2005
Launching the production of nursery cassettes using a unique technology that allows the industrial cultivation of seedlings.
2007
Opening of a plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice with a high-bay warehouse.
2008
Starting production of upholstered furniture under its own Marbet Style brand.
2008
Creation of a system for forest nurseries under the Marbet Green brand - introduction of supports for nursery cassettes.
2015
Research work on rPET nonwoven thermoforming technology, prototyping of first acoustic panels.
2013
Implement the requirements of the FSC® CoC standard for controlling the origin of wood throughout the supply chain from the forest district to the finished product.
2018
Development of a system for the installation of windows in the insulation layer - Marbet Bausystem Warm Installation Beam.
2020
Research and development of an innovative automatic production line for thermoformable nonwoven products.
2021
Started production of lamps and acoustic panels made of ecological nonwoven rPET under the new Marbet Felt brand.

Grants

MARBET Sp. z o.o., after a positive evaluation of the submitted application in the competition 2/1.1.1/2019 Fast Track, sub-measure – Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises, has received funding for the project: “Development and demonstration of an innovative, waste-free, technology for the production of monomaterial, 100% recyclable thermoformable nonwoven products,” under Action 1.1 of the Operational Program Intelligent Development 2014 – 2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the National Center for Research and Development.

The main objective of the project is to develop an innovative production technology that will significantly impact the environment by using fibers from PET bottles as an ingredient in the final product.

Total value of the project: PLN 5,249,341.43.

Funding from the budget of European funds in the amount of PLN 2,704,229.16.

Project: “Development and demonstration of an innovative, waste-free, technology for the production of monomaterial, 100% recyclable thermoformable nonwoven products”. Agreement dated 07.11.2019 No: POIR.01.01.01-00-0498/19-00, is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
